About Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the capital of the north and the starting point for every tour we run. The 700-year-old square inside the moat is dense with temples, markets, and small lanes you can wander all day. North of the moat the city softens into garden cafés and quiet riverside; south it spills into Nimman, the design district, and on toward the Doi Suthep mountain.
