Doi Inthanon

The highest peak in Thailand — waterfalls, mossy forest, royal pagodas.

About Doi Inthanon

Doi Inthanon is 2,565 metres above sea level, two hours south-west of Chiang Mai. The summit is cool (10–18°C year-round) and almost always wreathed in cloud. The mountain has dozens of small waterfalls, the king and queen pagodas, and the Karen hill-tribe villages of Mae Klang Luang and Ban Pha Mon spread across its lower slopes.
