About Doi Suthep
Doi Suthep is the mountain visible from anywhere in Chiang Mai. The 14th-century temple on its eastern face is the city’s most important Buddhist site. The road to the top winds for 12 km from the city; on a clear morning the temple terrace looks down on the whole valley before the haze rises.
