About Mae Hong Son
Mae Hong Son is the western anchor of the famous 600-km loop that climbs out of Chiang Mai, over the mountains to Pai, on to Mae Hong Son town and back via Mae Sariang. The province has the highest concentration of Shan, Karen and Lisu villages in Thailand, plus some of the country’s deepest forest. We run the loop as a 4-, 5- or 6-day trip.
