Pilates studios in Chiang Mai· 33 listed

Chiang Mai has a fast-growing Pilates scene, with reformer studios opening across Nimman and the suburbs.

Pilates has grown quickly in Chiang Mai over the last few years, and the city now has a solid spread of dedicated studios rather than classes tucked inside gyms. Most cluster around Nimman and the western side of the city, with newer reformer studios appearing in Hang Dong and the southern suburbs as the city expands outward.

The split is between mat Pilates, which uses bodyweight and small props, and equipment Pilates on the reformer, tower and chair. Reformer classes are the bigger draw and tend to run in small groups of four to eight, which keeps instruction close and personal. Several studios also offer one-to-one sessions and physiotherapy-led work for rehabilitation, posture and injury recovery.

Pricing sits above yoga because of the equipment and smaller class sizes. A single reformer class often runs from around 500 to 900 THB, with class packs and memberships bringing that down. Mat classes are cheaper, closer to the 300 to 500 THB range. Many studios ask new clients to take an intro session or a beginner block before joining mixed-level reformer classes, so it is worth asking about that when you get in touch.

Instruction is widely available in English, and a number of studios are run by internationally certified teachers, including BASI and other recognised training lineages. Class schedules are usually published on the studios own pages or their Instagram, and spaces are limited, so booking ahead is the norm rather than the exception.

The listings below let you compare Pilates studios by area and the formats they run. Open any studio page for contact details, booking platform links where they use one, and the services we have on record.

Reformer classes are short and early, leaving the rest of the day free for a guided tour outside the city.See tours
