About Sukhothai
Sukhothai is the cradle of Thai language and Thai script, founded in the 13th century. The historical park covers 70 sq km of restored temple ruins and is best explored by bicycle in the cool morning. Most of our travellers visit Sukhothai on a longer south-bound itinerary — Chiang Mai to Sukhothai to Bangkok by road and rail.
